Quality Control Processes
We at Stapleline have set ourselves the goal of achieving the highest quality in order to achieve the best results for our patients. In order to meet this standard, we have constantly improved our manufacturing processes with the top priority of quality.
-In practice, this means that each instrument or cartridge is fired twice before delivery to the customer to ensure our quality-
The employee who assembles the instrument or cartridge from its individual parts performs the first test. He checks whether the staples have the exact B-shape after firing. For this purpose, he uses a specially developed membrane that functions as a tissue substitute.
Second, a quality representative tests the same instrument or cartridge after it has been reloaded. He fires it again and controls the staple formation in the tissue and the whole appearance of the instrument as well.
After the third loading of the instrument, a Visual Identity Machine guarantees by laser that the staples are correctly positioned in each housing. This process is recorded and can be followed at any time by the serial number. This video sequence is kept forever.
Only after two successful tests and the recording by the Visual Identity Machine is the instrument packed and EO sterilized.
But we do not rest on this high standard and will continue to make our quality even better.
